I propose that some commitment to "Documentation" should be
added to the roadmap. The Intraweb documentation is lagging
so far behind that it is really painful, Intraweb 9 already has tons
of features that I don't know how to use...
Better even, why don't you guys change the on-line manual into a
Wiki so that others can participate in writing it? Might save you
some work...

(In order to reply per e-mail, please just remove the ".net"
from my e-mail address. Leave the rest of the address intact
including the "antispam" part. I had to take this measure to
counteract unsollicited mail.)

I'm currently assessing it. The reason I didn't put it on roadmap is that
its not tied to a version.

I've wanted to do that for a long time. There are some security issues I'm
trying to address today, then I can open it up to anyone willing to install
the CMS client.

I'm doing my best to document these in my third-party manual ;-)

Chad,

I'm very glad to see an emphasis on Silverlight, I'm now in a position
to start a major web development project and I'm seriously considering
to use either IW or SL, I'm not the kind of a guy to like ASP.net style
of development, I've demo'd SL quiet a bit and like it a lot, but atm
its not stable enough to start a full blown project, plus I've been
hesitant about the future of IW, plus the lack of cool third party
controls, however seeing that Chad is back (hope he won't leave soon :)
as he did with MS...) and putting some effort behind SL and hopefully
some tight integration with SL and Delphi code (in the IW way...) that
would be way to cool to miss out.

So based on this I'm sort of leaning towards a full IW project with a
plan of future integration with SL.

Best Regards,

I really like SL. But from the Delphi perspective, you have to manually code
multiple tiers, and you cannot reuse your Delphi code or skills or easily
interface to existing Delphi systems. IW 10 will allow you to do all of
those.

Well actually I left MS because of a family situation, not becuase I was
displeased with working there. And I'm still very close to Microsoft, I'm a
Microsoft Regional Director and MVP I contract a lot to Microsoft and speak
at their large Europeand Asian conferences such as ReMix, TechEd, etc.
